    Hi There!

    My name is Corrina Penston and I am looking to form a hot new band, I've loads of great material (40 plus songs) but am happy to add new material to the set list. I am looking for someone that is interested in acoustic driven pop/rock. I am used to performing and play guitar myself, someone that enjoys my style - check "Help Me Out" on www.myspace.com/corrinapenston and is dedicated, willing to practice in city centre and easy to get on with :) My influences would include Blondie, U2, KT Tunstall, Shakira, Republic of Loose.

    It's Dublin... grrr... Dublin might have less than a third of the whole country's population but it seems 80% of the posts here are Dublin. And a lot of Dublin people just assume that's what everyone thinks they mean... any time I see "city center", I'm pretty sure they mean "Dublin city center", and I'm always right...

    It means I get overly excited when I see anything to do with Cork.
    "Gee, I don't play the french horn, but there's a band here looking for one and maybe I can learn! They're in Cork!"

    i got that it was dublin, but i meant whereabouts, no point trekking to city centre if you live around the corner from someone!

    Corrina, great Dylan song that was. I am a guitarist looking to form or join a band. Been in many bands mainly blues rock type stuff. My songs are more on the mellow side not dissimilar to your songs which I heard on My Space. Terrenure based, 35 years old and living in Ireland for 4 years now.
