    Hey all,

Im fairly new to burning dvds and when ever I try to burn a video, 700MB approx onto a dvd, It always comes up saying that the DVD disk is to small, Anyone got any ideas to why its taking up 6GB instead of the 700MB that the video file actually is?

    thanks

Use Sonic Record now. make a data disc. Is it to give to someone else or to play on dvd player? When you give it to them they'll only be able to play it on a pc. My dvd is a useless piece of software.

You wont be able to play it on an dvd player unless you convert it to divx or something the dvd player supports.

its to play in a dvd player. I've made dvds before with it, only thing is it takes up two disks instead of one.

Is the burning program trying to convert it to a different format? If so, it might be trying to convert to a less compressed format or an uncompressed format.

I was looking around and came across a function to make the quality slightly lower, seems to be doing the trick,

    thanks for the help
