    Hi

Still struggling accessing boards thru my crappy NTL. Here it goes from Namecheap.com, I think it is cheap enuff, fair play it is .info domains.
Until midnite Aug 17th, 2006, .INFO registrations for just $1.78 per domain and still include a free 1 yr. Whoisguard subscription per domain

That is less than €1.50... :D

Thanks mart_max, looks like a good offer, I notice on the same site there's 10 years .info and .com registration available for $8.88. I've just become the proud owner of a new .info

My mistake sorry, it looked like $8.88 for ten years. The .info is a good deal though.

sounds too good to be true! has anyone read the small print
(like next year does it go up to some ripoff price, and you're not allowed transfer without paying an administration fee of 100)

I've been stung by cheap domain sellers before

vector, i can't seem to find the small print. can you point out the page that u r referring to? all i see is that the price for .info after year 1 and onward is $8.88. i have been using namecheap for many years and hv numerous domains registered with them. so far, i have not encountered any problem.

mart, no I haven't read the T&C's myself, I'm just suggesting that others should to be sure.

(ah forget it, for the low price who cares :) I just registered about 50 .infos with them for less then USD 99 what a deal)

I've used Namecheap before and renewed no probs for the same price.

Never tried to transfer one though.
Anyway with free framed web/email forwarding with no ads, you probably won't want to.

I found this link for a another couple of dollars off at GoDaddy:
    http://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/default.asp?isc=RSSBLOG48

The banner advert says .com for $6.95

This link was with another one to Bob Parsons blog (CEO of GoDaddy) so the offer should be genuine and work; although I haven't used it so I'm not certain.

It works. Also using the coupon code: onion gets you 10% off but you can't use it with the above offer.
