Thunderbird mail client

    Sick of spam so I thought i'd give Thunderbird ago, but have noticed that the total number of messages changes every now and again. I have set it to view all messages and threads, yet this problem still occurs so I don't know if i'm missing emails. The following picture will show the problem in action.

    More or less tried all of those options, but there is one or two that i'll retry when back in work tmorrow.

    Looks to be sorted, did the following and the message totals seem to add up.
    It's possible that the ".msf" files (index files) are corrupted. Try going to your profile folder and deleting them. They will be rebuilt when Thunderbird starts up.
