I was wondering if any one has experiance with calculating uncertainty limits for experimental procedures using the Guide to the expression of uncertainty in measurement?

I am doing a work placement trying to implement it in their testing procedures but its not easy. Does any one know how you get the sensitivity coefficients if there is no specific equation to govern the testing procedure, e.g. you are measuring the displacement of a motor.

I have tried contacting NPL but they have been fairly useless at helping me and my deadline for finishing the project is fast approaching.
