Villain is solid and a winner. I have roughly 800, villain covers

Limper, villain limps from sb I check K7 in bb.
    Flop: K75 rainbow, 3checks

Turn is 10: He checks I bet 12, he check raises to 36, I just call. Should I 3-bet here?

River 7: Bingo me thinks! He bets 64, I make it 164, he makes it 364! I have 550 left. Should I just call the 200 or push? Or do we find a fold here ever?

My Thoughts: The villain obviously has big hand. KK no, 1010 maybe but unlikely as Im sure he raises preflop most of the time from his play. 77 very unlikely obviously. 55 is definitely possibility, as is K10 and 107.
Based on this should I be pushing or just flat calling? Do we think villain reraises this river with 55/107? Would you if you were him?

I think I push here. As you said the hand that beat you are KK, TT which should raise preflop. 75o, K5, T7, are likely to be limped from the SB, and Villain might go for a check raise on the flop, but since everyone checked behind he couldn't.

If I'm the villain with 55, I bet this flop every time. K10 never 3-bets the river here. T7 fits better than the other possibilites. I'm happy to get it all-in here

If he's solid and a winner, surely he'd have raised PF with KK or 1010, unless you've seen him make sneaky plays like this before I think I just push here.

As laf says he could easily complete the SB and play this hand with 107, 75, 55 etc. and TBH from looking how the hand played out, I would have thought those holdings were more likely than 1010 or KK, and so I push. I also think that those hands will also call the push. As he'd have to think the same that we'd have bet earlier with KK, 1010, or K7.

Realistically only TT is gonna do us here ... so I shove and if he has TT/KK then I do the mouse-throw thingy.

Yeah KK or 1010 would have raised preflop. Maybe 55. I would push here

Results: I just called, he had TT.

I think in the long run a call here loses me money, I defo shuda pushed. I bottled out of the push for some reason and got lucky this time. I think by just calling I lose money more often than not by letting worse hands get to a cheapish showdown. The replies have backed that up imo

BTW lads, if you were villain in this spot with either 55/107, would you play it the same way as this guy on the river? What if i then came over the top all-in, do you call?

why not call....surely he has u on a possible K7 after the reraise and he still chose to raise again

I am not so sure about the preflop raise. This is essentially a heads up hand, he may have been trying to keep the big blind in the pot to get some money from him post flop.
