i'm looking for a good, simple and easy to use IRC client, i've used nnscript in the past but i'm looking for a change.

*i would of posted this in the IRC forum but it seemed to have disappeared, more likely to boards.ie not wanting to be affiliated with the old boards irc room.

nnscript was just a script, you were using mIRC.

    Try xchat.

ChatZilla is a simple IRC plugin for Firefox. As for #Chat Its crap you need voice. Sitting there for a while. Nobady gives you voice. There is a lot of orther channels out there that don't require voice.
