Project Gotham Racing 3 Overated

Who thinks Project Gotham Racing 3 was completly overated. I foolishly bought it becuase of all the "amazing reviews" it recieved. I think Burnout Regenge is way better on the 360

comletely different types of racing games tbh but i really hated burnout revenge and loved pgr 3. saying that i dont normally like serious racers and usually love crazy ones. burnout 3 was amazing but i just really disliked revenge for some reason.

Wow, Burnout revenge better than PGR3???

I have both pretty much since they were released, I still play PGR every 2 weeks or so, can't remember the last time I spun up Burnout revenge though. I like Burnout but PGR is a far better racing game, although Forza motorsport is the best racer I've seen on any platform.

I think alot depends on what your looking for in a game, I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on Test Drive unlimited next month and Forza 2 in november (i think?) cause I like racing games and the more realistic the better usually. Burnout revenge is one of those games that's just a great laugh with a few mates or a bunch of Strangers online

Burnout revenge is just a high def version of the normal xbox version which was a pointless release. Pgr3 has more dept than burnout but they are both different types of games if thats what you like fair enough but there not really in the same league as each other.

Hmm PGR3 is soooo much better (IMO) put it this way, I'm still paling it.

I dont know what it is, I just keep coming back to PGR 3, which is more than I can say about more racing games, no, I dont think its overrated...

I like PGR3, but I find myself playing Forza more often the PGR3, even though it does look pretty dated now.

ive been doing the same! forza is an amazing game, and playing it on the 360 was an excuse to start from the start again

I heard that Forza was a bit slow on the 360. How do you find it?

I have had zero problems with running it on my 360, and the load times are faster, not as much faster as you would see in Halo2, but noticable quicker then on the origional xbox.

PGR3 is a great game, Burnout is nice to dip in and out of but its just an arcade game, no sense of realism, no peril aside from driving on the wrong side of the road, its like a shootemup where the car is the missile, PGR3 is a proper driving sim, a perfect way to appreciate cars and how to drive them well.
Heck, I liked NFS Most Wanted more than Burnout, much more fun.

my PGR disc is scratched. There are 2 tiny blemishes on the disc and i cannot play one of the races. Its driving me crazy

EDIT:I bought the console on saturday and only played the game once and it wont play one of the races

on the orginal emulator update it was fairly crap, sound glitches, skipping in the opening intro and the like, but after the next few updates there has been no problems

on a happier note a bit of alcahol on my disc and its working fine again, must have been a bit of dirt rather than a scratch

Really like the driving aspect of the game but find it to be the same thing over and over again.
