Ratstopper pellet gun?

Did anyone hear of the pellet gun that you can shoot a rat from 100 meters and it is sapposed to have a deadly sight on it?


Does anyone know what it's called?

Sounds like a right yoke altogether, it'd be a fair man to pull off a 100m shot on a rat with a 22lr, nevermind a pellet gun!

Your talking about an airrifle and any that can shoot at that distance are serious things and you'll pay big money for them. And those deadly sight things are scopes yeah those yokes those sniper guys use. Deadly things all together :rolleyes:

If your being serious it will require a licence from the guards the same as any other firearm

So there isn't one guy I know said he seen them on the net buy cant remember the site!

Dont know if it 100 meters but it's sapposed to have a very good sight its a hand gun I think..

Could have been an english site air rifles under a certain power are availalbe over the counter but nothing that will shoot anywhere near 100 meters

What you probably saw was a crossman rat catcher

Heres a website where you can buy them but good luck getting it shipped to ireland. Fullbore rifles can also be bought online and shipped right to your door only if you live in america though!

Crossman make a rifle called the rabbitstopper (or the 2260 to be exact )
which you may be referring to. Its a CO2 powered gun and has a hunting range of about 10 meters. Like all CO2 guns it will put out about 10ft/lbs of energy depending on the ambient temperature.
A good spring powered air rifle will do much better than that , the choice is yours.

the scope on it is worth about €10 the crosshairs cover a rabbit at 60 yards
