What's everyone's opinion on buying a 360 off ebay? There's always premium bundles on there for just over €200 delivered. These are listed as being from China so I'm guessing they wouldn't be able to play PAL games. Would I encounter any other problems with owning a Chinese console? Also would there be duty charged on the console when shipped? €200 for a premium package really sounds too good to be true, so I'm guessing it is.

If it was me, I'd not do it. What recourse would you have if it arrived and didn't work? If I was buying 2nd hand I'd get it from someone in Ireland so I could see it working beforehand. The difference in price would only be less than the price of a game.

Yeah I'll probably just end up getting a second hand one from here or buyandsell, seems you can get the premium console for about €300.

got 1 brand new off ebay, no problems with it and v.happy with it, have it for 8 months now!

I have a mate who bought an xbox 360 from.. somewhere in Asia anyway off eBay. It works fine for him.

So do you order games from Asia then or do they play PAL games? Did you have to pay duty on the console when it was sent?

you do know those chinese sellers who are selling 360's , ipods, tv's etc real cheap are scammers and you will never get the item?

If really think your gonna get a 360 for that price then fire ahead and give away your money.

Its sad to see so many stupid americans bidding for 60gb ipod videos for 80 euros. Might teach them to cop on.

btw the 360 isnt even out in china as far as i know due to the fact ppl would never buy a real game just copies

Fair enough, the ones on sale there are all from dodgy sellers with blatantly obvious fake feedback comments. There were ones on sale earlier from sellers with a better history, I think they were from Hong Kong as well.

They hack into accounts aswell, i've seen them using accounts from germany belonging to a person who hasnt used their account in a year and are suddenly selling 50 xbox 360's for half the retail price. If any real seller is selling one, your not gonna save much on the 410 euros. Anyways, their ntsc-j, so unless you play to play asian games and the rare region free game, its of no use. If the asian sellers are selling pal 360's then they are definitely conmen!

the sellers in the example above are from hong kong, they can be from anywhere
