just noticed on my holiday tickets, my surname is mispelled.... maloney should be moloney... although on the envelope it has the proper spelling... should i be worried that its not spelled correctly on my ticket... im going on friday, could i be stopped at the gate or anything like that...

Depends where you are going, but I would be on the safe side and try and get them changed as soon as you can. If its the US or outside Europe I would definitely get it changed!

No problem OP. Try contacting the airline to see what can be done.

It won't be a problem, happened to me a couple of times. Just let them know and they will change the name for your boarding pass. If you are still worried no harm in giving the airline a call and letting them know.

You will be OK. My name is almost always spelt incorrectly on tickets and I've never had a problem.
