A Smith & Mason Barometer that says 1932 on it

    Hi folks,
I came across this barometer yonks ago (see the attachment). I have often wondered what is its genuine age. On the face, along the outer edge, is marked as "Short & Mason London Copyright 1932".

Having searched the net, the brick wall I have come up against is that of all the Short & Mason barometers I have found (pictures of), none resemble as closely as possible to this one in design and wood colour. Though there is no apparent hint of re-varnishing on my one.

If anyone knows anything and would like a larger hi-res picture just ask.

    Seanie.
