PCMCIA Vodafone 3G Woes

So it looks like the newer DELL laptops have a different PCMCIA slot and won't work with the current Vodafone 3G Connect Cards So I went googling and found this overly expensive item: http://www.expansys.ie/product.asp?code=129413 Can anyone point me in the right direction?
