    Festival of World Cultures 2006 invites audience members
    TO ATTEND exciting television event by RTE Television.



    Enjoy the energy of the Festival of World Cultures and take part in our television studio audience as RTE's Laura Woods meets some of the festival headliners for a chat and special television performances.

    This exciting televised event will be taking place in our TV studio based in the Maritime Museum in Dun Laoghaire during the weekend of August 25 th and you will have the opportunity to enjoy intimate performances from some of the headlining acts and take part in this unique television recording.

    There is an exciting line-up of acts performing, including:
    Bronagh Gallagher, Emmanuel Jal, North Strand Klezmer Band, Los Utrera, Etran Finatawa, Warsaw Village Band, Tefo, Kissmet, Trio Bulgarka, Marlui Miranda and Eoin Dillon. For more information on these artists, check out www.festivalofworldcultures.com

    I'm having flashbacks to RTÉ's last exciting televised event in Dun Laoghaire...

    The new years eve celebrations with Ray D'arcy from a few years back... that really didn't work out... they even got the countdown wrong and missed the new year.
