    Singer wanted for originals band based in Galway (would be willing to move to Dublin if we found what we were looking for in singer - good voice, lyrics and ability to put melodies to music). Influences are Mogwai, Sigur Rós, U2, The Beatles and everything or anything. We have a large repertoire of original music for singer to work with and there is a good band atmosphere with easy going people (ages 20-23).

    Hi I'm a 24 year old singer based in Dublin.

    Was gigging regularly but the group i was with have recently broken up, my influences are really varied, off the top of my head...

    Lizzy, Dylan, Travelling Wilburys, Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros, Kings of Leon, Stone Roses, The La's, Zeppelin, Mike Oldfield, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, Chilli's, Radiohead, Nirvana, Manu Chao theres loads more more but i'm in work and my head is like mush...

    I write my own stuff and enjoy working with other peoples lyrics and writing with a group, i've also worked with a group with a lot of electronic influences and have played a lot of trad so i'm open to any kind of experimentation, but my guitar skill leave a bit to be desired so that would be my weak point but i can play enough to help me write so it usually does the job...

    Anyway if your interested in having jam just reply and we can go from there.
