I was wondering if anyone else has the pigsback credit card. How exactly does it work? Is there anywhere else where I can get a credit card that maybe better? Im new to the whole credit card thing, so I would appriciate any advice.

    Try a 3v card. They're top-upable.

Have you got a bank account? If so then use your Laser, theres a good few online stores that accept it. It'll save a whole heap of trouble if you get into debt problems with a regular credit card.

I have one. Card is with MBNA. You get piggy points for every € spent. Is working out well so far except MBNA can be cúnts to deal with (try cancelling the payment protection and don't miss your payments as they will screw you).

I have the card, it seems ok, I pay by on time all the time, what happens if you miss the payment, what do you mean by screw you

I would probablly only use it 1 or 2 months a year. How do I pay my bill at the end of it? Am I charged something every month?

Their late payment fees are punitive.

You can pay by direct debit, by cheque (I think) or using online banking.

You will not be charged anything except your yearly stamp duty (€40) as long as you pay your bill in full every month. Fail to pay off the bill every month and will incur interest, fail to make your minimum payment and you will be charged a late payment fee.

    What is the minimum payment?

I have decided after all not to get a credit card. I don't fancy paying €40 when I am only going to use it 2 or 3 times a year. I think I will stick with my 3v:D .

I mised payment last month. Completely forgot to pay the bill. I had 6 flights to the USA on it for family. Bill was over E4K. MBNA fúcxked me up the ass for missing payment. I deserve it I suppose for forgetting.

Have any of ye claimed on that payment protection cover plan thing??
They cornered me like a rat one one day and I gave in to the telesales guy and just accepted it (With the idea in the back of my mind that someday I will take full advantage of that thing) in the end.
