I'm over in the Czech Republic for a week and heading to Dresden on a day trip, have no idea what it's like there, does anyone have any reccommendations.

You must visit the cathedral, absolutely stunningly restored building. Whilst there say a prayer for the many '000s of innocent civilians who were needlessly exterminated during the Blitzkrieg (WWII).
