Programs for burning

Having just encountered the bugfest that is nero 7, can anyone recommend a similar program(s)? I'm looking for the ability to burn images, cds and dvds. Doesn't have to be one large program like nero, several smaller ones would suffice.

I'd recommend CD BurnerXP Pro. Freeware.
