Well from what I can tell you need a M Licance in order to be able to drive a 50CC automatic Moped. I amn't to sure but I dont think you can get a bike with gears on the M.

But again. Your pervios No clames in your car will not count in any way when it comes to getting a bike insured.

You need to have an A category license for 2 years until you can drive a bike over 85cc. I dont know what capacity Aprilia rs50 is but u better find out before you buy it.

Incorrect. There is a two year restriction, but it's nothing to do with cc.

Category M licence allows you to drive any motorcycle which does not exceed 50cc AND which has a maximum speed of 45 km/h. The rs50 is 49.9cc, but seeing as it's a light, racing-style tuned two-stroke with 6 gears, it'll go a good deal faster than 45km/h.

It may even be too powerful for the A1 licence, you may have to go get an A.

It should be grand if its restricted for the M licence (this is the category covered by the B licence). Once its under 50 cc and restricted to 45km/h it's covered. Yamaha were doing 50cc TDR's (geared bikes) restricted for the M licence. I'd be pretty sure Aprilia do the same.
Your car NCB mean nothing to the bike insurers. Only two insurers - Carole Nash and Aon BikeCare so give them a bell and get a quote.

Your probably better off getting a Provisional A license. When/if you decide to get a bigger bike you will not have to change license. You can drive pretty much all 125cc bikes on this
