    Looking on this page, have I understood it correctly that a return ticket with return the same day from Dublin to Kilkenny is €12.50 for one adult? Ie the return ticket is €2.50 more expensive than the single ticket?

    I mean - is it that surprisingly cheap with the return? :) Couldn't believe it at first in the rip-off Ireland..

    Its reasonable enough, mine from Virginia costs €19 or €14.70 for Navan.

    I used to use Bus Eireann occasionally in the 1980s. At that time one way tickets used to be about 90% of the price of a return.

    No, that is the price for a monthly return. A day return is €11.50 (or €10.40 with the 10% online discount.)
