Well done to the lads they gave it everything and were only millimetres away from getting the draw they deserved. One of these days we will get a bit of luck i hope;)

    Indeed, very disappointing. :(

Ah well, we can console ourselves with the fact that we live in Waterford and not Cork. ;)

Great game, nearly had a heart attack.

That shot that came off the post was a blessing, it wasn't a foul to begin with. I thought W'ford
were quite rough in the game and the ref was very lenient in general. That W'ford team could have easily gone to the final but that Cork team is one of the best hurling teams ever imo.

best of luck to w'ford next year

As a Wexford person, I was (albeit briefly) sorry that the team representing Waterford had been the team representing Wexford this year. They never sat down, never gave up, even against the reigning champions. Spirit is what differentiates a team from a group of players - Waterford showed that. Their day will come. I hope its soon.

Clare could have beat Kilkenny yesterday. They missed 2 or 3 goal chances that should have been buried. Cork were lucky to have come out the victors against the Deise. I want them to hammer Kilkenny in 3 weeks time.

Waterford will surely get to the 1/4 finals next year & hopefully go on from there. No reason why they shouldn't. A great side & remember - the last team to beat Cork!

    Up the Deise!!
