Someone should go all KKK on these PC morons...the country would be a lot better off without them.

Let's not forget it was the Herald that claimed Shamrock Rovers supporters were personally responsible for the O'Connell Street riots. It's a reactionary piece of **** written by idiots, for fools.

Unless some utter fukwits get a silly mob going it's showing July 12th. Not sure which station but its probably in the article i linked hehe.

"The newspaper's editorial said the sketch, broadcast on July 12th, "cast a terrible racist slur on Ireland's welcome new communities"."

This is the funniest, its probably the paper that issues the highest level of immigration scaremongering of them all.

Bah the Herald is a load of rubbish.

Park Live is utter drivel. What Delamere does on it I just don't know. It's crap. Dunno if the sketch was racist or not, but going by other sketches they do I bet it was marked by its utter lack of humour and wit. Ireland's equivalent of Soccer AM, bubble gum telly for the mindless.

August is a slow month for news (not that news really concerns them anyways). I havent seen the show but the Herald are prone to exaggeration it seems.

I actually lose respect for people who read the Herald. Anyone who willingly reads that tripe must not be the sharpest knife in the drawer.

    /Puts hand up

Have to admit to being a reader. Buy the Indo in the morning in Metro format and usually pick up a Herald at some traffic lights or other on the way home.

Meh, I read it for the articles, I mean the pictures, I mean articles. Damn, you've got me confused with my Playboy excuses.

    Ah the Herald.

Imagine the editorial meeting that day....

"So lads, what ye got for the front page"
    "nothing really, its all quiet"
    "Israel?"
"Na. People wont buy the paper if the news is that dreary"
    "Dáil?"
"Na. They're on holidays. We have a picture of Bertie at the Galway races on page 3."
    "So there is no news?"
    "Nope."
"OK, run an RTÉ bashing front page"
    "Righty-o!"

Independent Newspapers. Making up it own agenda as it goes along.
