Doesn't Amarillo Slim have to do something unpleasant if a woman ever wins the main event?

Yes he does... A knife to the throat job. My problem isn't with a woman winning it... Just with Annie Duke.

I've seen in a number of sources that this was apparently a misquote... It was a particular female player, Amarillo Slim had a problem with, other than women players in general... Very similar to Fatboydim :D

Phew... she's gone! Probably really unfair of me as I've never played against her or anything... But that feet thing and the stupid girly act... yuk.

Kathy Liebert on the other hand I have met and she's very nice.

But thank god I can still play poker.

    Am I missing something ?

Was shortstacks entry not 2.5 hours after the deadline ?

In fairness to Ste05 & Big D I dont think his selection should be included.

    ay caramba, Stewards Enquiry called!!

in addition to overuse of the whip, Shortstack is before the stewards for a possible late declaration.
I think we should ask Big D and Ste05 what their opinions are first, given that they are the only runners and riders who can possibly be affected.

Well personally I don't mind either way, I wouldn't have a problem losing to an Irish Winner, (I was away all weekend, so I didn't see how the picks developed at the time) so unless anyone else feels hard done by, I have no problem letting Mike's pick stand, BigD??

ive either played with or seen most of the dudes that are left, and the one that has impressed me most is a guy called Kevin O Donnell, toughest player i faced in my 4 and a bit days anyway.
Not sure what price u can get, but if anyone fancies a value bet, id throw a few quid on him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,806 ✭✭✭Lafortezza

Who do I pay my $20 to?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 512 ✭✭✭WH BONNEY

Backed him earlier today @ 33/1

Guy has some very good form this year.

BTW congratulations on a fabulous performance at the WSOP.
Sat at a table with you once at the Red Cow and that was enough to have me glued to the updates hoping youd go well.

    Congrats again.

He's 2/1 to make the FT with PP. How many players make the FT 9 or 10?.

Nine for the FT, but the FT bubble still gets $1,000,000.

It's a shame that Mr Magill didn't go all the way, but I suppose if there's any other player I'd like to see take it down it would be Allen Cunningham.

I suppose the handiest thing to do is for people to just transfer the money into my Poker Stars account, Poker_Brat11 or if anyone wants to arrange a Neteller/ All-In Poker/ Party Poker/ other transfer just send me a PM.

And Big D can hold on to his stake for the 1% fund.
