This tournament is being held in Scotland, and Ireland doing real well so far, beating the Danes and Scots, only the Dutch offer a risk to the Irish. :)

Interesting that with this tournament, there are two sets of playing regulations, as Scotland, Ireland and Holland are playing proper ODI's, while the other matches with other countries are branded as "ICC World Cricket League" *boggle*

Oh, and a protest at the Israel game in Div 2, Group 2 forced the abandonment of their game with Jersey the other day on "public safety grounds", and todays game against Norway was played behind closed doors!

And with a "no result" against the Dutch today, Ireland win the title, with a little help to the elements and its good chum Vera Duckworth. In reality, they were ahead of the eight ball.

Ireland 274 all out (50.0 overs)
    Holland 125 for 5 (19.0 overs)
    No result (D/L)

    Well done boys! :)
