why do girls bother with guys who think that its only ok to go out with someone their friends deem acceptable. these idiots think only good looking girls have good personalities. if a person isnt attractive to you this doesnt mean she's not attractive to other people. if you live by this then chances are you're always single cuz every girl realises what a complete idiot you are. get a life.

It happens to be much funnier when someone posts jokes that some people may find sexist, invariably someone takes offence and gives out to the OP about being sexist. Three minutes later, the same person goes and posts sexist jokes.

Ahhhhh, the repetitive thread. An opportunity for us all to repeat what we have often said week after week. Like all people are different, irrespective of gender, race, colour, creed, religion, national origin, etc., etc. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," and beauty is not just skin deep, personality and other things that make us unique are important, too. I can now turn to the other thread that's running right now and repeat again. Hummmmmmmm? Just like advertising? Yup. for me though, in cases like that it varies from finding their double standards slightly funny to making me annoyed enough at their stupidity that I genuinely wish them a life of being on the recieving end of discrimination.

The double standards are the things I find funny. The Humour board had some cracking examples not so long ago.

When you have a good looking girlfriend everyone comments/congratulates you. If you like getting these comliments you go for a good looking girl.

When you have a good looking girlfriend it implies you're worthwhile of a goodlooking girlfriend.

Guys don't do it solely do it for their friends. Sex with good looking people is more enjoyable & good looking people are usually more confident - confidence is attractive.

Guys with good looking girlfriends get more respect from others\friends. - This would have been an advantage to survival\reproduction at some point so more genes would of been passed on from people who were likelly to go for a girl who impressed the the mates.
