Ok so i got myself a moneybookers account to buy something from China a few months ago as paypal can't be used to send money in and out of china but moneybookers can. It seems the same as paypal but using money that comes directly from your bank account rather than your credit card.

Does anyone know how secure it is? A lot of people I look to buy stuff on ebay who don't use paypal for one reason or another seem to offer moneybookers. Does this come under dealing outside of ebay using it? Does anyone have any experience with it? It appears to offer escrow but i'm wary of using it as i've heard about a lot of scams with illegitimate escrow sites.

I've been using them for over a year now (topping up my Skype account for one) and I find them a lot more reliable and better value than Paypal...

I am thinking of getting a Moneybookers pre-pay card to use mainly on the internet for buying books etc. - Does anybody have any views on this card?
    Regards Padraigin:)

I wanted to open an account myself with Moneybookers but after reading some negative reviews I decided against it. But Paypal is even worse

Why drag up a 5 year old thread to ask something completely unrelated?
