    Hi all,

Haven't posted here before, but enjoy reading all your posts! :D
Been having a little betting week this week, did ok Thursday but yesterday was shocking! Trying to avoid the favourites!

Anyway does anyone have any tips for today?
Does anyone think anything can beat Ouija Board @ Goodwood?

Basically i've just had my Appendix removed so can't do alot at the moment so racing is keeping me sane!! (But at the same time decreasing my bank account) ALL GOOD FUN THOUGH!!

Thinking of having 1 bigger bet today along with my small flutters! ;)

I think Argentine in the 415 at Goodwood today has a good chance, hes been knocking on the door of late and trainer and jockey are in top form, 7/4 at the mo which I think is a great price.

Sorry to hear about your appendix ive been in Galway on Wed and last night Friday its a cracker of a festival.
I feel the value bet in the 2.30 at Goodwood has to be Race for the Stars the ground and trip (increase from a mile) will suit her. I feel that a small each way bet could give good value in this race. Oija board had bad luck versus David jJunior last time and has a better pilot on board but thats the value bet in the race for me.

I'll probably regret saying this, but I'm laying Ouija Board, and backing Alexander Goldrun.
While Ouija Board looks like the one to be on, her inconsistency bothers me, and don't feel she is worth risking at such a low price. Alexander Goldrun is a very decent horse and has plenty more to come, so I think the 5/1 currently available is good value. Ouija Board is starting to remind me of Beef or Salmon... Everyone wants her to win, but there is always a question mark, and people are often left dissappointed. No doubt if she is back to her best today, she should be able to do it, but I think it was worth taking the chance and laying her at 5/4, as it wont break the bank if she does go on to win anyway. Should be an enjoyable race though :)

i'd say your probably safer waiting until before the off if your laying.. could well go to below evens..

i, on the other hand, will be backing ouija board for everything i've got in my pocket :)
..along with the rest of betting public..

nannina could well be the danger though..

Thanks, i'm in debate now! Will be checking out Argentine though! Mark Johnston generally is a thorn in my side, i like to back his horses but when I do they lose and when i don't then win! oh well the racing is off, my feet are up!!

What a fantastic race. Even though I was on Alexander Goldrun. I really enjoyed that race.

I know! I went for Alexander Goldrun as well last minute! If only she had larger nostrils!

I think Joseph Henry 4.50 at Goodwood today has a good chance, hes been knocking on the door of late and trainer and jockey are in top form, 9/4 at the mo which I think is a great price

    Tush
