Just a quick question.. I have a student AIB credit card with a limit of 600 euro.
Now anytime i buy something i always keep it below the 600, but there are a few items that i would like to get, which are more than 600. So is it possible to go above the limit and pay it off the following day or so. Or will the the bank cancel the purchase?

The purchase would probably get rejected at the point of sale.

If you want to make a purchase bigger than your limit then load the money required onto your credit card a couple of days before the purchase. However its not always a good idea to max out your credit card like that, doesn't look so good on a credit report. :)

Yeah i heard about that before, but not sure if it worked.,

Also, would i be right in saying that, once you paid off your bill to the bank within the specified interest free time, then these APR rates don't matter..? sorry if it is stupid question, but i could never figure it out..
