Sending a HD signal to a 2nd TV?

    Hi,
I was told by Sky that the HD can only be trasmitted to one tv in the house and all others in the same house will be transmitted but in non-HD mode.

I asked a guy recently in a tv shop and he dissagreed with this, he said there are splitters available on Ebay that will let the HD signal be spread onto more than the one tv in a house.

Any tips or info would be appreciated.

    You can get HDMI splitters.
But there may be an issue with how far away the second TV is, whether the distance will affect the signal or if you can even get HDMI leads as long as you may need them.

If you are rich enough for 2 x HDTV , you can afford a 2nd SkyHD box?

There was talk of Phillips developing them right now.
They will use the 5.4 ghz band.
