Is 100 euro for a second hand box too expensive? Reason I ask is cause if i pay 150 I get a new one, along with the QUAD and free install. So if I pay 100 for second hand one I have to pay 75/80 for a quad, say another 10 euro for cabling and install it myself?

Where do you get a Digibox for 150 with install!?
A new sky+ box and installation costs 149 for the box and 75 for installation! That too you will have to take up a 12 months contract and also connect your telephone at all times!
No Sky+ boxes at 100 euros isn't expensive, just see what size is the hard disk!
I hope you know what your talking about? A Sky Digibox is different from the Sky+ in many ways... and you will also need 2 cables running form the dish to your box!
What I have told you about is the sky+, 100 for a standard sky box is expensive all right! unless your getting a recent box...

I got my Sky+ box from Sky in February for €129 so I would say it is too expensive. Think mine is the 80gb version.

I was quoted alot more than €125 when I asked recently. I think it was about the 300 mark.

I recently got Sky+ for €149 and installation for €75 as I didn't take multiroom! My sky+ box is the 160GB version. I got it from sky itself!
dubmick how did you come around €129!?

If you upgrade to Sky+ and go with the multiroom option you get the 80Gb Sky+ box for 149 euro and installation is free.

In fact, http://www.sky.com/portal/site/skycom/home/article?contentid=73610 would imply that for existing customers who upgrade a Sky+ box ist 69 at the moment from Sky (going off the fact that its usually 149 and the usual 149 offer is only 69) They ran that offer as well about last October. So 100 for a second hand box right now is way over the top!
