xbox360 without a hdtv

    I have been considering the machine for ages, only thing a hdtv is not on the cards for a long while. Is it a disappointment without the tv or would i be better off with a high-end graphics card??????????

    What do u guys reckon

    You can also use your pc monitor which helps. A HD tv is recommended but if you can handle playing it on a monitor it's still worth it.

    Get a widescreen monitor and the vga cable.

    You'd pick up a nice 19" WS for around 200-250 euro these days.

    I have never plugged it into a TV. I use this Dell 20" widescreen monitor and the image is completely flawless.

    HDTV is fantastic though and they are really nice but being honest you wont notice that much of a difference from what I have seen and been told.

    the monitor has dvi, vga, s-video and composite so I can have my pc, xbox 360, ps2 and something with s-video (dvd player etc) plugged into it all at once and I can switch between pictures by pressing the input button.

    cheers lads,

    I have a syncMaster 17inch at the moment not the best response times but should do nicely. It will be easier than having to convince the wife to read a book instead of watching tv......

    Must check with xtravision to see if they still running the special, is it still the best deal around.

    Check out Game as well - 469 for the premium pack with Oblivion + Prey.
    425 for the premium with Oblivion + Prey + Far Cry.
