Recommend encryption software

Hi I'm looking for some good, easy to use encryption software. I'd like to be able to encrypt the contents of certain folders and decrypt them all with one password entry. Would be handy if it would automatically encrypt the folders again at logoff. Anyone know such a product(Preferably opensource)?
