My GF got a CD player for her 02 yaris a few months back and tried to get a friend to install it, but rather than install it he fecked up and cut some wire, which meant the standard radio and the clock on the dash dont get any power and the cd-player isnt installed.
I recently found out a block is needed to install a non-standard radio which i have since aquired, does anyone know anywhere/anyone that will install the CD player as the toyota garages aernt intrested?

Any car audio specialist would do it.

Unles the previous genius threw away the wires that he cut you should be able to re-wire it yourself. All the wires are colour coded.

Or a good auto electrician should also be able to sort it.

My bet is if the clock aint working he blew the fuse trying to find the correct
wires, if the original connector is still there rejoin the wires or alternatively get from scrapper. Also just for info most cd players fit in the tray under original stereo just remove the centre facia and the tray and the cd player will screw in place and the facia fits over it
