Photography Diploma

Does anybody know anything about the Photography Diploma course in Kilroy College? It's a distance learning course but I'd really appreciate some feedback from anyone that has done the course or if another course could be recommended. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to photography but I'd love to get into it in more detail.

We teach purely Digital Photography and the bits that feed into that. We waste no time on film developing and processing (not much use in the digital world unless you're an afficionado) or APS Film and Cameras (now mostly defunct).

The weekend course seems like quite a good idea ........... I havve been looking for a way to learn more.

Are there ever any courses held in Drogheda?

I'm hoping to bring the courses to other locations early next year. Drogheda is just up the road from Dublin so it's a strong possibility.

I'm considering getting locally based photographers to give courses in their immediate area. I'll post the info here closer to the date, in the meantime if anyone out there feels they know enough about digital photography techniques to teach others please send me an email.

Yeah - keep us posted on any courses in the Drogheda area ......... the weekend course would suit me best I think.
