LCD Monitor advice

    Hey,
I am planning on purchasing a LCD monitor over the next few days. Not exactly sure what I want to get. Think I am going to get a 24inch as I'm looking for high resolution ability. The monitor will also double as my DVD player in my bedroom.
I am looking at the Dell 2407fpw. Also if I can find the older model (2405fpw) for much cheaper I may get that. I have heard some bad things about these models though.
also in mind is Samsung Syncmaster 244T, or the Acer AL2423W (this is a good bit cheaper).

Any ideas on whats the best / value out there. It would be nice to have a tv tuner, and HDCP etc etc... but not a necessity.

    so... what would ye advise.

HDCP compliant monitors are still thin on the ground so the Dell from reviews is a decent display in it's own right so it is probably worth going for.
