i have 2 (amateur brewer) small beer barrels.
they are designed to accomodate internal pressure of ready to drink beer & have taps for dispensing.
i have given up the hobby.
    free to good home.

contact me if you can use them.

  • i wouldn't mind one..

We bought the kit from Dunnes, but it wasn't air-tight and the beer was ruined, would love to give it another go.

    What size are these?

  • I'm in Harolds Cross, so not too far from you either...

    Emmet/Oddstuff

If for any reason you don't go for these I'll be interested in one or both as they would be very handy for my homebrew. Hope that doesn't sound rude, I'm not suggesting that Emmet shouldn't get first refusal!

edit: Emmet - what kit from Dunnes are you referring to? There's a homebrew sticky in this forum if you're thinking of taking it up again

  • I'll only be taking one if i can get it bigears, so you're welcome to the second...

It was a all-inclusive kit called "the beer machine", and it seemed pretty good, until we realised that the lid wasn't exactly on the screw threads, and no pressure had built up...

in that case it would be great, i can collect it off either of you if it's an option

i've heard of the beer machine but haven't tried it, your opinion seems to be consistent with others though...
