Lowering overheads in a company startup

    Hi,

I have taken out a franchise of a company which I will be opening next month. It is a sales oriented company. I will either be releasing money from my home or selling it to fund the operation. The overheads at the begining are the killer. Rent, Franchise fee, insurance etc. I have to employ an office administrator at the begining which is also a €1500 monthly drain. Any ideas on lowering overheads and costs would be greatly appreciated, penny pinching is key!

More details would be good - is this sales from the premises, or remote sales? If the latter, do you absolutely need the premises to start with?

    What sort of sales?

Needing an office manager a bit strange if they are going to be your only employee.

Businesses come in a very large range, you'd really have to be more specific to get good advice.
