Did anybody happen to see this race yesterday?

    http://horses.sportinglife.com/Full_Results/0,12493,206169,00.html

I watched in disbelief as the jockey was *unseated* COUGH !

A hot fav which was about to skate in and Johnson was even looking around him with a furlong to go till he came to the last.....where it all got a bit strange..

    Anybody else see this ??

++ another v v dodgy ride last night in Kempton 824 Montage, went off as fav, much fancied, was goin ok about 5th, then the jockey preceded to run into the back of Dark Parade, then got boxed in twice, and by the time got any clear ground the leaders were long gone, 8L's clear and starting their finishing run ins.

This was so bad that it looked like he was deliberatly hampering the horse and looked v v dodgy, and this from a member of the Hills (whiter than white) family >>P Hills(7), anyone who sees this would ask does this jock have any ability at all. Has he just a few rides under his belt?, cause hes the greenest of greenhorns, and shouldnt be getting leading rides like this.
    what thinks ye?

The one with Richard Johnson can be excused I think. I saw it as it happened and you have to remember that these are only three year olds and still learning the game. Johnson is one, like McCoy, who I'd be very surprised to see any dodgy behaviour out of. The horse jinked badly a couple of times and RJ was dumped by a combination of the horse jinking and the saddle hitting him on the back (I think), Was annoying for me yesterday cause within 2 minutes 2 horses I had backed (Sporting Limerick and Soviet Sceptre, wasn't online to post em) fell when it looked like they were certain winners. Such is life.

something similar happened in the race before that as well when a 50/1 shot went on to win after the leader fell at the last fence when he was 8 or 9 lengths clear

Attheraces analyzed this last night and it clearly showed that after the horse jinxed badly the saddle slipped, he had one foot of the saddle almost in line with the top of the horses back and the other was nearly at the bottom of his stomach, had very little chance of staying on imho but i do agree if you seen it without the replays in slowmo it did look like he jumped off.

I had money on him too. Watching the odds on Betfair, I thought he was home. I didn't know it was controversial as I didn't see the race.
