final cut 5 on intel mac?

i installed it but it will not, open it keeps saying something about the ram but i have the ram!

ok i installed final cut 5,
it says i do not have the software or hardware and says 512 of Ram
i have 512 ddr2 ddram
it a imac intel 17inch
i am getting the universial binary of final cut, will that work?

well if you were trying an non UB version of fcp on an intel mac, therein lies the problem. fcp UB should work fine for you, tho they say you need a gig of ram for HD stuff.

It needs to be 5.1, just 5.0 won't work on an Intel
