Some of you may find this intresting.

ONLINE POKER COMPANY HEADED FOR THE EMERALD ISLE

    200 new jobs for Dublin

The confusing legal climate, and the uncertain future for online gambling companies in the United States are cited as the main reasons for a US company moving its corporate head office to Ireland this week.

Tiltware LLC, the software company behind Full Tilt Poker, has announced that it is moving to Dublin, Ireland, creating up to 200 new jobs in the Emerald Isle.

The company does not operate an online gambling site, but it does provide the technology infrastructure to online gambling businesses such as Full Tilt Poker, which may or may not be considered illegal in the uncertain U.S.legal climate.

The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed the Internet Gambling Prohibition and Enforcement Act in their efforts to tighten restrictions on online gambling in the United States. The U.S. government also flexed its muscles in the matter recently with the arrest and indictment of David Carruthers, former BetonSports, Plc. chief executive, as well as other employees of the online gambling company and marketing companies associated with them for racketeering and fraud charges related to taking sports bets from U.S. citizens online.

Tiltware is already recruiting staff in Ireland, and thirty of the company's employees have relocated to Dublin, where another forty key workers have been signed up. A company source hinted that Tiltware will be looking to hire another 100 Irish men and women in the next 12 months. Ireland has a strong record for well educated and prepared IT and financial graduates suitable for the hi-tech workplace.

The average salary the company is offering is in the Euro 80 000 range with salaries starting at Euro 30 000 and reaching up as high as Euro 120 000.
