I see that Rush got the winners of the ongoing saga that is North County v Strabane. Railway Union got Phoenix at home.

Two good ties, Railway would have to be favorites, most of their team are available for the ISC, and I'd fancy one N O'Brien to make a guest appearance. Phoenix are an unknown quantity, they vary from week to week.

Rush are always hard to beat at home, god knows which team will show up to play them. Latest I heard is that Strabane are holding out for August 4, as they would only be missing Peter Gillespie. North County, rightly, say that it is crazy to have an important match in the top ICU competition on the same day that the Irish team are playing. They are happy to play on August 11.... one day before the semi-final.

The ICU are going to have to lay down the law.... or will they. (They should have spotted this coming 6 months ago). I'd fancy Rush to beat Strabane, and if NC are missing the three Irish lads, Strabane may just surprise them. If NC are at full strength.... no contest.
