NTL set top box upgrade fscked?

    My NTL digital set top box has been "upgrading" for the past hour and a half.

    It says on the screen it'll only take a few mins.

    I just unplugged it and plugged it back in, and it's still upgrading.

    Anyone else having this? There's no mention of this fault on their customer support line.

    Happened to mine before, you'll have to call them tomorrow. It just means that there is no signal getting to your NTL box. It wrecked my head for two days before they called out. Could be a fault in your area or like mine just some wires loose in the man hole which they fixed easily

    Think you're right, there's no analogue cable tv either.
