Irish Sky in UK?

Hi guys, didn't want to hijack the other thread. Similar query, different country. Is it possible to get RTE1, RTE2 and TV3 added to the Sky packages in the UK?

The Sky.com website is not very good at answering these types of questions.

to get RTÉ on a UK sub it would have to be a Northern Ireland one. there is no other way of having RTÉ on a UK subscription. TV3 isnt available in any way on a UK sub

Thanks MossyMonk, I'm in England so don't think I'll be able to wing that. I pick up some of the RTE shows on the web but it would be nice to be able to watch good old Irish telly in the UK I used to think RTE was cr*p until I didn't have it anymore! Strange...

Find someone in Ireland who wants to get ch4 and ch5 in Ireland. Get them to sign up to Sky's Irish package, you sign up to the UK package and then swap boxes and cards with them. Loads of people do it.

True, swapping cards, and re-pairing them with the different boxes would suffice.
