24, Prison Break & Lost

Hello there,

I've been watching Lost on television for the last 2 years. Its an excellent programme.

Just bought the First Season of Prison Break...have watched the first few and its pretty good.

How would you compare 24 to the above 2. Is it worth my while buying the DVD's. I have never watched 24 but there seems to be huge hype about this programme.

Its better then Prison break ( I think ) maybe not as good as LOST
but an excellent show.

Lost

Lost is completely different. Different pace, different style, more depth, and a wider range of characters.

Prison Break does have similaritys to it. High octane drama, over the top drama, edge of your seat stuff, with cliffhangers.

but yeah check out 24, everyone who has watched it, say it's an incredible program. My favourite show. Infact I noticed a trend and I did it myself, people who dislike it, do so because they have never seen an episode and hate anything that is popular.

24 is certinly the best out of the three. With prison break 2nd imo.

Its quite an investment though, in both time and money!

Also, i'd skip season 4 of 24, really poor!

I missed the first episode of Lost and was freaked out as everybody was talking about how great it was. I let it slide and didn't get into it and I'm so glad as I think I would be doing my nut with having so little answers.

Prision break is pretty good but we'll see how it develops over the rest of this season and the second season to see if it will run out of steam.

24 imho is the bomb, espcially as every season has a conclusion to satisfy the mind, although I won't say anything about the most recent season . Oh and theres a good looking blonde in it as well...Lisa, no Eliza, damn I forget. Maybe the forum moderator could shed some light on it .

i watch all 3, and 24 is just... the shiz. definitely the best.

I have never before watched a show where i've been so excited about the next episode as I am with 24..
Lost has filler episodes every now and then, and that annoys me (Rose's story anyone!? cmon...). But with 24, its just.. all action, and its cool. and i love it..

Prison Break, hhmmmm. Good show, not as good as i hoped though

Prison Break is an excellent show but im sceptical if it can remain the same quality next season.

24 hours is the best I've watched Prison Break and I think its a good programme but I don't really like it as much as 24 its a bit gritty.

Now Lost is okay but its more like a long episode like they're probably not going to get off the "island" until Season 9 or something.

I don't know what this will do to the show in terms of the quality of the story.

What is with everyones feeling that Lost won't end until season 9. The executive producers have said they will leave after 5 seasons tops.

Anyway i'm kind of seeing that prison break is getting so repetitive. It's like every week they are avoiding getting caught by the skin of their teeth and its just a tired cliché in a show that is quickly becoming a cliché. Its definatly moretired than the mole in CTU every season.
