Camping in or near Galway City...?

    Anyone know if there are any campsites in or near to Galway City? (Close enough for a cheap enough taxi home after the pubs close!)

    Can't find any cheapish accomodation for the Bank Hol (left it a bit late I know) so gonna opt for a tent instead!

    Salthill, isn't too far away at all, a few campsites in the caravan parks there, will be down that way myself at the races this weekend, we have an apprt booked right in the heart of the city, happy days

    Trying to make me jealous with your appartment tales!? :p

    I'll give a few Salthill ones a ring me thinks, hopefully they'll have a spare spot for us. If not any offers of a back garden would be very much appreciated by 3 young lasses in their early 20's ;)

    I had a mind-blank and forgot about Salthill.

    Why didnt you say...theres 2 beds in our place and a sofa, i am sure we can come to some sort of arrangement ;)

    2 beds and a sofa...yep that should do us. Don't worry though, we'll bring our tent for you guys so you dont have to bother bringing your own! :D
    So nice of you to give up your apt like that :P
