Hey all, me and a few mates are thinking of going camping for the bank holiday weekend. Anyone reccommend a good spot. Looking for a spot where we could camp for free, not too many people around. Kinda hopeing somewhere near a beach and a few pubs / shop.

Dunmore east, stradbally and bunmahon were mentioned by some of the lads. wat do ye think?

Try posting this in the Waterford forum. You might have more luck than in here. Sorry I cant offer you any advice. I am from Waterford and know that this weekend is our busiest weekend of the year. Spraoi is on.

    Best of luck....

I agree post this in the Waterford forum you will get a better response. It might be an idea to camp in Dunmore East alright as you are closer to the city for the Spraoi weekend if ye fancy going out, there is loads on so it should be a good one. Stradbally is lovely but very small and quite, but if that is what you are looking for its a good spot to camp.
