Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This morning (Wednesday morning 2nd August) I'll be speaking on behalf of DRI on The Today Show on RTE Radio 1. The other speakers will include Billy Hawkes (the Data Protection Commissioner), Paul Durant (ISPAI) and Eoin O'Dell (Trinity).

The show is broadcast between 9AM and 11AM, and the Data Retention discussion is scheduled to be on from about 9.45 onwards (or slightly later).

To tune into the radio show, you can do so, by tuning your radio to one of these frequencies (88.2-90FM or 95.2 in the NorthEast, or 252 kHz LW or 567 kHz MW), or listen to the live Internet radio stream here:
    http://www.rte.ie/smiltest/radio_new.smil

If you're worried about data retention, data privacy, and what these proposed laws will bring about, then please e-mail, text, or telephone the show.

    Contact details are:

    Email: tom@rte.ie
    Phone : 1850 715 900
    From NI: 0845 7 85 77 77
    Text us on-air: 087 627 22 22

Better yet - do this and then let somebody else know about it.
