    hi, is there a site i can go and do an run an on line anti virus test? i know avast have one but i didnt find it much good.

    You could go here http://free.grisoft.com and download AVG free if you're not hapy with just avast.

    There's no on-line virus tests though AFAIK, and any site asserting that they do an on line virus test, i would personally steer well clear of. Giving an external website that sort of access to your computer would be stupid
