Bassist Needed

Hi,
We're a covers band starting out and we need a bassist to complete the
lineup. We're looking to play regular pubs and party gigs and we have
quite a diverse set. Backing vocal ability would be a big plus but not
necessary. We do current (Jack Johnson, Kelly Clarkson, Corinne Bailey Rae) and classic (Eagles, Bon Jovi, Elvis)
chart music with a few country and trad (Johnny Cash, Christy Moore) songs thrown in for good measure.
We're based in dublin city.

i suggest telling people where ye are in the country, what type of music ye play...you know like if yer gonna be playing muse songs and chili peppers songs yer gonna need a slightly better bassist than if yer a green day cover band...you know stuff to actually get people interested. id also suggest not being a cover band but you seem to have your heart set on it :rolleyes:

if you mention U2, GnR and Stone Roses in your influences, i might just cry.

But joenailface is right. The more details you give the better the response. imo.

I have with some backing vocals, just not if I'm playing any who stuff ;-)
