Depends on the context. What is it?

What, is this for more 'direct' flights into the islands or for the ferry services?

I always presumed it was the people, the Irish-speaking, from the islands that ran the ferries and transport services?

CIE run the ferry.... Aerarann, formerly of Inverin fame, the flights. There are several different locals running boats.
